The Altrincham to Sale Rail Trail is about 5.5 kilometres long linear walk from Altrincham to Sale with an option to explore Timperley Flood Basin.
It can be made into a longer walk by doing the Altrincham Circular Rail Trail first and staying on the canal.
The walk should take you about 1.5 hours.
